These sedimentary rock earrings are made from 6 different layers of beautifully textured acrylics.

Sedimentary rocks are formed by the accumulation or deposition of mineral or organic particles at the Earth's surface over a very long period of time. Sedimentary rocks often have distinctive layering and can contain fossils, making them important for understanding Earth's history.

Three fossils have been laser engraved and handpainted in the surface of the acrylic, and the layers are secured onto a clear acrylic backing.

The earrings measure 6cm long and hang from brown acrylic toppers.

The earrings posts are surgical steel and are paired with comfort clutch earring nuts.

I was so excited to receive my sedimentary fossil earrings in the mail. It was beautifully packaged to begin with. The length and weight of the earrings surprised me - I was expecting them to be heavy but they were comfortably light and the length was perfect. Beautiful earrings in great packaging

I love my sedimentary rock earrings because I can talk to my primary students about them. The packaging was gorgeous too. I have actually taken photos of each stage in the "un-boxing" process because we are learning about packaging in Science.
